Jessica Vasquez

Jess previously taught at the Downers Grove Park District NaturePlay School. She also taught Tot and Parent classes and led family nature hikes.

Jess firmly believes in the power of nature education for children and looks forward to the day her daughter can become a Little Explorer! Her favorite parts of teaching are all of the surprises that come with it, from surprise rain to animal encounters. When she isn’t exploring the great outdoors with little ones, you can find Jess reading, crafting, or volunteering in her community.

Jess is an Assistant in the 3-day session and a Lead Educator in the Friday session as well as an educator in our enrichment and family programming.
