Lisa Gaynor

Enrichment Coordinator and Lead Guide

Lisa holds an Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education from Triton College, a Bachelor’s degree from Michigan State University and a Master’s degree from Northwestern University. For the past four years, Lisa was an integral part of the teaching team as a lead teacher and an assistant for the Morton Arboretum’s Little Trees nine-month nature based early learning program. Lisa presented at the Rooted In Play Conference in May, 2024 and the The Wild Thing Conference in March, 2025.


When not playing in nature with children, Lisa can be found baking in her kitchen, outside in her garden creating beautiful combinations of flowers and colors, behind her camera taking nature photographs, searching for a new bird, fishing with her three children or taking a long bike ride or walk.
